2020 Farmhouse Red Blend

44% Zinfandel, 21% Touriga, 21% Barbera, 14% Mourvedre

The Long Family’s “go-to” red wine while sharing a meal around the dining room table at Larry & Linda’s Farmhouse.  This vintage shows lots of brambly dark fruit and spice on the nose, along with a touch of cigar box and a whiff of cotton candy.  The palate shows red and black fruits, as well as floral nuances of lilac and rose petal. Slick granite, anise, and BBQ meat linger on the silky finish.  Fresh acidity and well-developed tannins make this wine perfect for any rustic meal, yet its quaffable enough to drink on the Farmhouse porch while the sun goes down.
